Clearzie is a software product of Clearzie, Inc. ("Clearzie,” "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Clearzie website, software platform, integrations, and related services (collectively, the "Services").


By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.


1. Information We Collect

We may collect information directly from users, from organizations that provide users access to Clearzie, and from third-party services that users choose to connect to Clearzie.

Account and Contact Information

• Business email address

• Telephone number

• Company or organization

• Job title or role

• Login and account information

• User permissions and organizational assignments


Business and Workflow Information

Clearzie may process information users enter, upload, generate, or manage through the Services, including:

• Tasks, projects, and recurring workflows

Connected Application Data

Users may choose to connect Clearzie to third-party applications and services. When authorized, Clearzie may access information from those systems as necessary to provide the requested functionality.


For example, when a user connects a QuickBooks Online company, Clearzie may access accounting and business information made available through the Intuit QuickBooks Online APIs, including information relating to accounts, transactions, customers, vendors, employees, financial reports, and other accounting records authorized by the user.

Clearzie accesses connected-system information only through authorized connections and subject to the permissions made available through the applicable service.


Usage and Technical Information

We may automatically collect information such as:

• Browser and device information

• IP address

• Login and session activity

• Application usage

• Feature interactions

• Error and diagnostic information

• Audit and security logs


We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.


2. How We Use Information

• Provide and operate Clearzie

3. QuickBooks Online and Intuit Data

Clearzie may integrate with QuickBooks Online through APIs provided by Intuit.

When a user authorizes a QuickBooks Online connection, Clearzie will access and process QuickBooks information only as necessary to provide the features authorized by the user and supported by the integration.


Clearzie does not obtain a user's QuickBooks credentials. Authorization is handled through Intuit's authorization process.


Users may disconnect their QuickBooks Online connection in accordance with the functionality provided by Clearzie and/or Intuit.


Use of information received from Intuit APIs is subject to this Privacy Policy as well as applicable Intuit developer requirements.


4. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Features

Clearzie may include artificial intelligence and automated functionality designed to assist users with activities such as:

• Summarizing information

• Analyzing workflows and operational data

• Drafting communications

• Identifying exceptions or items requiring attention

• Recommending actions

• Automating approved workflow steps

• Assisting with accounting and administrative workflows


Clearzie is designed so organizations can establish permissions, workflows, approvals, and other controls governing how automated and AI-assisted functionality operates.


AI-generated information may require human review, depending on the feature and the organization's configuration. Users remain responsible for reviewing information and actions where appropriate.


Clearzie does not use customer accounting data, including information obtained through QuickBooks Online, to train generalized artificial intelligence models for the benefit of unrelated customers.


5. How We Share Information

We may disclose information to service providers that assist us in operating Clearzie, such as providers of:

• Cloud hosting and infrastructure

• Data storage

• Security and authentication

• Communications

• Application monitoring

• Artificial intelligence services

• Customer support

• Connected application infrastructure


These providers may process information only as necessary to provide services to Clearzie and subject to applicable contractual obligations.


We may also disclose information:

• At the direction of the customer or user

• To facilitate an authorized integration

• When required by law, subpoena, court order, or legal process

• To protect the rights, property, or security of Clearzie, our users, or others

• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business


We do not sell personal information.


6. Customer Data and Ownership

As between Clearzie and the customer, customers retain their rights in the business information and content they provide to Clearzie.


Customers authorize Clearzie to process that information as necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services in accordance with applicable agreements and this Privacy Policy.


7. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, loss, or disclosure.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized account access.

8. Data Retention


We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide the Services

• Maintain required business and audit records

• Meet contractual obligations

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, customer configuration, contractual requirements, and applicable law.

Clearzie may contain integrations with third-party services such as QuickBooks Online and other business applications.


The privacy practices of those third parties are governed by their respective privacy policies and terms. Clearzie does not control the privacy practices of third-party services.


Users should review the policies applicable to services they choose to connect to Clearzie.

The Clearzie website and Services may use cookies and similar technologies necessary for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, and application functionality.

Clearzie is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
